This helmet bears the manufacturer’s marking “JHS,” identifying it as a product of J. Hückel’s Söhne,. It is size 56, constructed of olive-colored felt, and retains its original olive green chinstrap. The national shield and the national eagle are executed in aluminum. The interior features a light brown sweatband with the maker’s mark and dated1942, 56 beneath it, and the red inner lining is toally mint. HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION.
