TEXTBOOK CUT, MELTON QUALITY WOOL JACKET, IN REGULATION PATTERN, WITH 2 PATCH CHEST POCKETS, AND 2 SLASH HIDDEN SKIRT POCKETS. POLITICAL CUT TO THE REVERSE, WITH 2 BELT SUPPORT BUTTONS, AND ONE SUPPORT HOCK TO EACH SIDE.
THE COLLAR IS PIPED BLACK AND SILVER, AND THE JACKET HAS THE STANDARD BLACK COTTON LINING, WITH 2 INSIDE POCKETS TO THE SKIRT, AND 2 FIELD DRESSING POCKETS TO THE INSIDE FRONT. THE INSIGNIAS AS ARE THE COLLAR PATCHES, THE INSIDE IS STAMPED VA 1938, WITH SIZE STAMPS, AND A CLOTH VA LABEL, FOR THE FIRST CONTRACT 1937.
THERE IS A SINGLE EPPAULETTE WITH A PAPER CONTROL TAG, A BLANK CUFF TITLE, AND A PIPED HAND EMBROIDERED SD SLEEVE DIAMOND, DENOTING SERVICE IN THE GESTAPO.
BUTTONS ARE REGULATION SIZE, AND MAKER MARKED, DENOTING THAT THE TUNIC IS POSSIBLY A PURCHASE PIECE.
